Responsibilities:

• Ensure the quality, accuracy and consistency of online security information content published via Travel Security Online and associated platforms.

Travel Security Online service

• Proof, publish and maintain travel security online content in line with Editorial Quality and service delivery standards
• Provide final pre-release quality assurance of consistency and accuracy of analysis and advice
• Provide feedback to drafting in line with established Editorial Quality standards
• Maintain consistency of travel security content against global thresholds and across Membership service lines
• Ensure alignment of travel security online content
• Maintain daily reporting schedules
• Liaise closely across the Security Operations to help shape reporting priorities and coverage
• Produce maps and other multi-media content

Travel Security consulting

• Assist in responding to client inquiries about travel security online content
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new Travel Security content
• Contribute to the drafting and production of consulting reports.

Training and development

• Support the mentoring of analysts to ensure development of high-quality current reporting

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree, preferably in international relations or a related area
• Editorial experience in commercial news, international affairs, academic or risk management organisation
• Analytical experience, preferably in a government or commercial news, international affairs or risk analysis environment preferred
• High proficiency at copy-editing and proof-reading
• Fluency in MS Office software
• Experienced user of content management systems
• Content distribution through social media
• Thorough knowledge of global geography
• Sound understanding of global security issues
• 8 hour shift basis
• Some travel dependant on business needs
