Honey Island Capital

Honey Island was founded in 2015 by EBANX co-founders João Del Valle, Alphonse Voigt, Wagner Ruiz, and Antonio Maganhotte. Initially, investments were made with proprietary capital in the angel stage.

At the end of 2018, led by Mariana Foresti, who brought her experience in networking and supporting Endeavor entrepreneurs, Honey Island raised a second investment vehicle focusing on investing in 10 startups in the pre-seed stage. At this moment Antonio Dias, who played a significant role in supporting EBANX founders in their growth trajectory also joined as a partner.

In 2021, Leonardo Jianoti joined as a Managing Partner and the firm launched, in partnership with 4UM Investments, its first institutional investment fund. Honey Island by 4UM, is currently in the process of investing in about 15 fintechs and SaaS B2B startups at pre-seed and seed stages.
